Love for prayer, for the conversation with God, for adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, as well as the participation at the holy sacrifice of the Mass with reception of Holy Communion, if possible daily.
Priests who belong to the OA celebrate daily the Eucharistic Sacrifice with reverence and spend time of adoration before the Blessed Sacrament
The OA members living in the world attend, if possible daily Holy Mass and visit the Blessed Sacrament. They foster a conscious life in the presence of God according to the example and with the help of the holy Guardian Angel.
The contemplation of the word of God, the Divine truths, leads to interior transformation, forms our life and is revealed in actions.
Contemplation is directed always firstly towards God, to the kingdom of God, the word of God, the Cross. The daily contemplation leads to tranquility in God, to peace of heart and to peace in one's own family/community through genuine love towards those around us (cf. 1 Jn 3:16-18).
The members of the OA esteem the word of GOD faithfully and unconditionally in Sacred Scripture in conformity with Catholic doctrine. This affects meditation of the word of GOD and its implementation in practice. The exact observance of the doctrine of the Holy Church is obligatory. Linked to living the word of GOD is holding in high esteem the Divine mysteries which reside in the Holy Church as the sacramental and central mysteries of the love of GOD.
The members of the OA foster daily deep and living contemplation, according to their life circumstances.
GOD deploys the holy Angels and men salvifically, because the need of these times is above all a spiritual need, a crisis of faith, and the Angel in his vision of GOD is best able to guide and fortify our will and strength. Readiness for expiation comes from an interior generosity of heart that is sustained by the grace of God (which is mediated by the angels).
We intervene for the needs of the Holy Church, for priests, for consecrated souls and all mankind. The sick place their pain and infirmity in the golden bowl "in behalf of the Church" (cf. Col 1:24).
With the holy Angels' help, the members of the OA learn to understand better and better the greatness of the redemption; they learn to follow more consciously the Cross of our Lord JESUS CHRIST and to intervene for the salvation of souls through intercession and expiation. The Seven Words of our Lord on the Cross, especially the "I thirst" (Jn 19:29), are a legacy and a mandate to us all.
Every week the Passio Domini Thursday night (Mount of Olives) and Friday afternoon (hours of the Cross) is observed with fervent devotion.
Christian life is essentially apostolic; we are called to share Christ with the world, whether at home in one's fatherland or in the missions. In the present hour, the whole of mankind is a mission territory. Overburdened priests as well as vacant parishes and priestless areas cry out for help.
The holy Angels, as their very name angelus denotes, are messengers of GOD, who execute His will with "winged" swiftness (cf. Ps 102:20-21). Their obedience is our model in the fulfilment of GOD's will, which manifests itself in His word (His commandments), in the duties of one's state in life, in the directives given by ecclesiastical and religious superiors. And just as their mission aims at the eternal salvation of men (cf. Heb 1:14), even so do the members of the OA engage preferably in the battle for the salvation of souls, the building up of the Church and the help in each and every need, especially for priests and consecrated souls.
The first mission is the mission into the battle of daily life, to be there a Christ-like model in word and deed even in little things.
